L.A. Brewers Take Home 43 Honors at L.A. International Beer Competition

The 2018 competition season starts off with an impressive showing by members of the Los Angeles County Brewers Guild at this year’s Los Angeles International Beer Competition held at the Los Angeles County Fair. The annual competition which draws both local and international brewery contestants yielded a total of 43 honors for LABG brewers spread among 22 individual Guild breweries. Awards for the L.A. County region included 12 Gold Medals, 12 Silver Medals, and 13 Bronze Medals. There were also 6 additional Honorable Mentions.

UPDATED: LABG actually took home 43 honors including another Gold and Honorable Mention for Arts District Brewing!

This year marks another year of growth for the L.A. region in the competition arena as Guild members nearly doubled last year’s accomplishment of 27 Honors in the 2017 competition.
