Women in Beer Brewery Tour – DTLA

This March, LA Beer Hop is doing two tours that highlight the talented women of the Los Angeles beer scene. On the first two Sundays of the Month (March 3 and March 10) LA Beer Hop will visit breweries that are owned or operated by women. Each tour, guided by Cindy Mooney (Certified Cicerone® and LA Beer Hop owner) will highlight a special guest speaker who will chat about their experience working in the beer industry. Details below. Tours are available to the public and include visits to three breweries, a flight of beer at each location, a behind the scenes tour, and an expert Beer Guide.

Brewery Info : Eagle Rock Brewery, Indie Brewing and Iron Triangle Brewing

Women Info : Ting Su (ERB, Founder), Breeze Galindo (Indie, Assistant Brewer) and Amber Sawicki (ITB, Assistant Brewer). The tour will be guided by Cindy Mooney , Certified Cicerone® and owner of LA Beer Hop.

Ting Su will be talking about her experience creating The Women’s Beer Forum

Ting, co-founder of Eagle Rock Brewery and Eagle Rock Public House, holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from USC, practicing pediatric physical therapy for 10 years before leaving to managing the daily operations for both the brewery and public house. Ting also serves as an official judge in the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) and a Pink Boots Society member. In addition, Ting is involved with a number of civic activities, hosting a successful monthly Women’s Beer Forum at the brewery, and consults with various community groups and local businesses to organize events.

Tour Includes : The tour visits three breweries and includes a flight of beer at each place, a
behind the scenes tour, personal Beer Guide, bottled water, and as much beer info as you
like. The entire event takes about four to five hours.
