Guild members Alosta Brewing Co. will be expanding their fan-favorite Pintwood Derby beyond the walls of their Covina tasting room tothe Bidwell Forum Plaza (between the Glendora Library and City Hall) in neighboring Glendora. The 4th Annual Pintwood Derby will benefit the Arthritis Foundation and will also feature an Independent Beer Festival featuring all the 17 Brewers Cup participants. Festivities take place on Saturday, August 12 from 12pm-4pm.

Will those participating in the derby who are under 21 be allowed to participate?
Answer: Yes! Everyone 21 and older will be required to wear a wristband in order to get beer samples.
Will there be awards?
Yes! There will be two classes. 14 & Under, and 15+. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given in each class. The winner of each class will then face off in a winner take all Grand Champion race at the end of the day.
What are the rules for the Pintwood Derby?
Answer: We will be using the Boy Scouts of America rules for Pinewood Derby. See here.
It’s going to be August, will the race be outside?
Answer: No! The racetrack will be indoors in an air-conditioned building, while the beer festival will be outdoors in the plaza.
Can I buy tickets at the Alosta Brewing Co.?
Answer: Yes! We will have tickets available for purchase at the brewery tasting room during normal business hours.
